This calabash dug in a natural squash will be the ideal companion for your energizing and thirst-quenching matte moments. This calabash comes equipped with its bombilla (stainless steel straw) equipped with an integrated filter allowing you to taste your infusion without sucking up the leaves.

User Tips 

The calabash is dug in a squash, so it is necessary to follow these instructions before use, in order to eliminate dust and residues, but also to make it watertight and fill any cracks. 

Before using it for the first time, fill your calabash with 3/4 Maté sheets, then add hot water. Let it rest for at least one night. Next, empty the calabash, lightly scraping the inside and removing the residue. 

Country of Origin 

Calabash and bombilla are traditional products of South America, where mate is widely consumed (Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina...). Our calabashes are handmade in Argentina by a family business. They are dug in a natural squash Lagenaria sicenaria. 

Maintenance tips 

Be sure to dry your calabash perfectly to eliminate all traces of humidity.
